FAQ's
Where do we need to register?
Register at www.foneitall.com by clicking on the "new user" icon on the top right corner. Download the client on your PC by clicking on the "Download" icon on the top. Registration is restricted to Beta users at the moment. If you want to become a Beta user send us an email at support@foneitall.com and tell us why you want to become a Beta user. If we find the answer intriguing enough, we will email you your registration code.
What do you mean by Client Machine?
A Client Machine is basically your PC on to which you have downloaded and installed the Foneitall software. Your client machine icon will appear on your Foneitall space once you login.
Which Mobile set(s) is/are Application compatible?
All mobile sets which have a WAP 2.0 browser and are GPRS enabled are application compatible.
Which OS Supports the Application?
The Client Application currently runs on Windows XP machines. A Windows Vista installer is coming soon.
How many machines can be shared?
You can share as many machines as you want.
What if my client machine is password protected or in locked mode?
Your application will run just as any other application runs in locked mode.
What if the Client Machine is offline?
If the Client Machine is offline then you cannot perform PC tasks or send and receive emails through MS Outlook but you can still view your shared folders if they had been marked for synchronization.
What does Synchronization mean?
Synchronization means that your shared files would be processed and backed up at our remote servers securely. These can then be accessed instantaneously through Foneitall keeping you synced with your cloud at all times.
Is there a limit to the Size of the content to be shared/accessed?
There is no limit to the size of file sharing.
How long does it take for synchronization and what to do if it takes too long?
Synchronization takes time depending on the number of files to be synchronized. However, if you want to access a file immediately all you have to do is access it through Foneitall. This would increase its synchronization priority getting you the file immediately.
What if my synchronized files get corrupted or deleted?
Data is periodically backed up. If such a thing happens we might just be able to restore your files.
What if one of my machines or files has a virus?
Files containing viruses will not affect our service at all. We do not clean files with viruses, they will remain in the same state.
Can I have two accounts simultaneously?
Yes you can have as many accounts as you want given that they have a different username.
Is every file automatically saved on the Server?
Files are only saved if you have checked the synchronize option on the client installed on your machine.
What if my client machine is online but the GPRS is slow?
This would cause your browsing through your phone to be slow since it is dependent on the GPRS connection.
Where do I report in case of a problem?

Is there any limit to the file size which we can share or view from our mobile?
It depends on the memory of the mobile's browser as to how big a file it can display. This varies from phone to phone.
Can we share movies or music files through this software?
Yes you can both share and download them.
Is it necessary to have your shared machine connected to the internet permanently?
No it is not; because once your files are synchronized you can view them even if your PC is offline.
Does this application allow email attachment viewing?
Currently it does not, but we plan to implement it in future.
Can we make changes in our shared folder documents?
Unfortunately not. You can only cut, copy, and paste or delete them through your mobile phone if your machine is online. If your files have been synchronized you would be able to view those documents even if your machine is offline.
What's the minimum memory requirement for the mobile to run this software?
There is no minimum memory requirement but your mobile should have a WAP 2.0 browser.
Does Foneitall allow us to send emails from our mobile phones?
Yes it does but your client machine has to be online and MS Outlook has to be configured for synchronization.
How do I configure MS Outlook for Synchronization?
To Synchronize MS Outlook you need to click on the MS Outlook tab on the installed software on your machine. You will notice a checkbox which allows you to Enable MS Outlook. Select the checkbox and click on apply to enable MS Outlook Synchronization. Do note that this will only be possible if MS Outlook has been detected on your system and will not work with Outlook Express. In addition to this, make sure that you have saved your credentials (password(s)) for each email in order to be able to send and receive new email,
Does this system allow us to view all Microsoft office files for example Excel?
Yes you can view all files. The supported MS Office files are Word documents; Excel spread sheets and PowerPoint presentations. The versions currently supported for these documents are MS Office 2003 and higher.
Can I "log on" my PC from the PC Tasks section?
No you cannot. You can only do the following, "lock", "log off", "hibernate", "restart", "shutdown" and view its information.
How many MS Outlook features will I be able to view from my mobile phone?
Currently, we are supporting access of Emails and Contacts.
Can I access someone else's PC through this software if that persons permits me to do so?
You can access any PC on which you have installed Foneitall and have logged in with your credentials. Sharing your files through your accounts is not available at the moment and will be accessible to you soon.
Will my shared PC files remain secure on your server and what guarantees that?
All information on our servers is encrypted which are themselves hosted in secure data centers in US.. Even the communication for synchronization is secure along with your access through the browser.
Can I have two simultaneous accounts on one PC?
No you cannot. Only one account per machine is supported, but you can have multiple machines linked with the same account.
What type of PC files can I synchronize through this software?
All MS office files (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), PDF files, Images, Music Files and Videos can be synchronized. All files will be viewable except for music and video files.
To send and receive email through MS outlook should my PC be connected to the Internet?
Yes it should. To perform any Outlook activities such as use of Calendars, Tasks, Notes, Address Book management etc. your machine needs to be online.
If my PC is not connected to the internet, can I still view my emails?
No you cannot. The only emails that will be visible to you will be the ones that you have already viewed using the service.
Can I transfer my files from one PC to another PC?
No you cannot at the moment. But stay tuned for updates on this.
If I delete one of my files through the mobile phone, will it be deleted from my PC or just from your server?
It will be deleted from both locations if your PC is online (connected to the Internet). However, if your machine is offline you will not be allowed to perform this operation.
If my PC is connected to the Internet can I pick up any file which is not synchronized?
Yes you can. As long as that file resides in the folder that you have shared, you can easily access it by clicking on its link while you are browsing the application.
